Message from President

Nippon Koei Urban Space Co., Ltd. is a new organization formed through the integration of Tamano Consultants Co., Ltd. and the Urban and Spatial Development business of Nippon Koei Co., Ltd. to provide one-stop services that combine civil engineering and architecture fields to expand operations into the urban space domain based on our accumulated technology and experience.

Urban spaces face a myriad of social issues, including the realization of a sustainable society and decarbonization, and responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to resolve these issues, there are a number of new services emerging, such as new mobility, the use of renewable energy, and the application of smart technologies such as the introduction of the metaverse. These initiatives will change the fundamental way we live in terms of how we work, live, enjoy our down time and move around, and will also be a factor in transforming our cities.
Based on our experience and achievements in urban infrastructure development centered on public works projects, it is now necessary that we enhance our technologies to resolve the issues faced by urban spaces today. We will continue to grow into an organization capable of creating custom-made urban spaces based on the latest technologies.
The services we provide fall into three categories. These three divisions will work together and interact with a wide range of expert groups to promote urban development in new areas by combining civil engineering and construction technologies.
