We will contribute to planning for sound land development and efforts to solve urban problems in developing countries.

In developing countries, regional disparities, lagged socioeconomic development with an insufficient infrastructure, and urban problems such as traffic congestion, environmental destruction and environmental pollution due to population influx to urban areas become apparent. To solve these issues, Japan is expected to promote international cooperation, utilizing its experience in and skills for nation building and community development. We are engaged in projects by the Official Development Assistance (ODA), making use of our experience and skills developed in Japan, and will continue to make international contributions in many countries and regions through these projects.
